DAY 42 – REASON 42 to HIRE ME - I'm Grounded in Fundamentals Not Limited by Tradition

Public Relations Social Media Media Relations Marketing Communications PR Publicity Executive Communications Media Training Crisis Communications
With the explosion of new technologies it’s more important than ever for senior communicators to understand how business goals translate to fundamental communications strategies and incorporate all tactical possibilities.

I founded a company two years ago called Outlaw Communications and have spent this time combining my years of public relations and business communications experience with an ever-growing and deepening understanding of the emerging social media environment.

I’m a veteran PR guy experienced with accounts both large and small in the corporate, agency and non-profit environments. I’ve worked with technology companies such as Dell, Apple and IBM as well as consumer products companies like Cadbury-Schweppes, Best Buy and Panasonic and financial services companies like GE Capital, Genworth Financial and Chase.

I have both business to business and business to consumer experience in traditional and social media as well as content creation and communications services, such as media training, crisis planning and employee communications and change management.

Here’s a brief recap of the reasons to hire me:
2. Willing to sacrifice an entire consulting company to work with ED
1. I have a very expensive Harley Davidson Habit

DAY THIRTY - NINE – REASON THIRTY - NINE to HIRE ME - 94% Service Up-Time Month over Month

Public Relations Social Media Media Relations Marketing Communications PR Publicity Executive Communications Media Training Crisis Communications
One of the very best things about technology service contracts are the SLAs or service level agreements.  The client and vendor agree on a level of “up-time” among many, many other things but this is where you can ensure a certain level of coverage for your business.

I was feeling very tired yesterday, Monday, March 12, 2012 and realized I’ve been running for 40 days straight without a break, pause or day off.  I decided to look back over the last couple years of my consultancy Outlaw Communications, crunched some numbers and came up with an average monthly “up-time” of 94%

I’ll put those numbers up against any executive in the public relations or any other industry.

I founded a company two years ago called Outlaw Communications and have spent this time combining my years of public relations and business communications experience with an ever-growing and deepening understanding of the emerging social media environment.

DAY THIRTY - EIGHT – REASON THIRTY EIGHT to HIRE ME - 30 Day Return Policy

Public Relations Social Media Media Relations Marketing Communications PR Publicity Executive Communications Media Training Crisis Communications
Choosing the correct person to fill a key position and take on important responsibilities is both difficult and crucial.  While it’s possible to find someone matching the basic skill-set requirements and even determine, to some small extent, a candidates motivation to fulfill the requirements for a position it is nearly impossible to choose the person who best fits the cultural requirements and environment of both the hiring organization and any external business partners they may deal with.

To offer you and your organization the comfort and assurance that I am the proper cultural fit for the position and confirm both skills and motivation, I offer a 30 day no hassle guarantee and return policy.

If after 30 days you are not completely satisfied with my performance, simply throw me out upon the metaphorical midden heap or if you prefer the blue recycling bin.

DAY THIRTY - SEVEN – REASON THIRTY - SEVEN to HIRE ME - Expertise in Social Movements

Public Relations Social Media Media Relations Marketing Communications PR Publicity Executive Communications Media Training Crisis Communications
Regardless of your clients’ or organizations’ depth of commitment to social media understanding how and why large groups of people do what they do is the cornerstone of all marketing communications. The application of this knowledge to business goals forms the basis for public relations activities.

I am both a student and practitioner of communications firmly grounded in a sociological framework.  Coupled with degrees in Sociology, Public Relations and graduate work in Business Administration my training woven with many years of practical experience deliver a winning combination for the organization I join.

I founded a company two years ago called Outlaw Communications and have spent this time combining my years of public relations and business communications experience with an ever-growing and deepening understanding of the emerging social media environment.
